What to do with muslim kids who have been displaced?

I was thinking about this as I was trying to sleep, I understand that we cannot adopt children but we can sponsor them. But what about the children who are displaced during natural disasters and their parents, relatives, or family have died and cannor be found what would they do in this situation? Well I was wondering if we could take them in until they become of age? Maybe the mosque can take them in as well, i'm not sure how this works. We can feed them, provide them clothing, fun activities, shelter, give them a good education, etc... When they become eighteen they can live somewhere else or continue staying here. Of course the males shouldn't stay long sonce the majority of residents and guests will be female and i don't wont them to feel uncomfortable so for a certain age, well i'm not sure what the cut off age is but yea that's something to think about.
