If anyone wants to go anywhere, your room must be cleaned, and your chores must be done. If this hasn't been done, you can send your list to a sister, or the housekeeper and she will do your shopping for you inshallah. There will be an announcement that if anyone wants to go shopping you have at least between five and ten minutes to go, if you are ready then please sit and wait in the living room. Make sure you have answered the call of nature before you go, charge your cellphones, dressed apppropriately, bathe, etc. If you would like to bring your children with you it is alrite, juss try and keep them quiet, and bring the car seat and stroller around.
Also, each sister needs to hav a buddy when shopping. So nobody should get lost, if they do, at least another sister would be there with you. Also, have your phone on either vibrate or ringtone loud enuff so when one of us mayb tryin to call or text you, you can be alerted and we can all assemble back to the car. Oh before we go our seperate ways into the store or wherever make sure we have a common meeting spot, a landmark that reminds us what that area is closest to, so at a specific time, everyone can meet up there, then we can go back to the car together.
For example: The same six sisters above, with the housekeeper who is also the chaffeur, arrives at the destination. Everyone agreed to hit walmart first. Oh yea, i forgot, we also state the places we need to go to with the absolute neccessary first, then somewhat neccessary, then want to go. We all vote on common places, and the one with most votes go first, then we do the same for the other places. So once we arrive at walmart. Everyone should take the time and check out their phones to set them on ringtones. Usually if you decide to sit with a sister who u know, then u guys can go as buddies, or whoever you are sitting next to, that can be your buddy. But remember you two are responsible for each other. The newbie can go along with the housekeeper if she wants too. If we have an odd number of sisters for the total than groups of 3 can be formed or whatever, but no one can go along. If a sister brings her child, or children along, the duty of the other sister is to help keep an eye on them as well as the other sisters of the group. the Housekeeper (HK) will state a time and common place to meet up at. Let's say it's 11:30 am, the sisters have at least 30 minutes to an hour to get everything they need + want from walmart and meet back up at, let's say the facility has a Subway cafe inside the store. Hopefully everyone should know where the subway cafe is. The one i go to is not far from the entrance. If someone doesn't know where the subway cafe is, they should ask. If anyone has any other questions they should also ask them now. If you brought your baby along, then you should have a stroller in the trunk or we will provide one for you so that, the baby may have travel in the stroller, or the buggy if you prefer, it's up to you. So we all agree to meet up at either 12 or 12:30 pm at the subway cafe, all sisters should be there waiting to leave. Pick a table and sit there patiently. If you have to use the restroom after getting out the car, go take care of that first, and make sure your buddy is around with you.
Please don't bring alot of junk with you in your purse. Take what you need and be done with it. We try to leave out after prayer times or before so that we can make them on time. There are water jugs, prayer mats, and extra prayer garments also in the trunk for when the time comes inshallah. That's why we work on a schedule. At least 30 minutes to an hour. The HK usually leaves the house around 3 times areas of the day; early morning after fajr, morning, + afternoon. No shopping at night. The only reason that the HK would be driving out late it would be for the sisters who work late, and need a ride home.
