SSHC: Zeynab

Zeynab was a keep-to-myself kind of sister because the sisters in her former community were backbitters, slanders, gossipers, innovators, very wicked people. She went to the masjids only to worship Allah, but those wicked sisters kept coming around and spreading their filth around her and eventually she would continue to get up and move. One day as sister by the name of Latifa came to speak with her about another sister to instigate and get feedback from her. Zeynab said "I don't know sister Isha. I really don't know too many sisters. I mean I know of her meaning I know that she is the Imam's daughter but personally  I do not know her". Latifa start listening real hard waiting fore her to spill more about sister Isha so she can run and tell that to her backbitting friends. Zeynab saw the grin on Latifa's face. She felt very disgusted inside and asked her what do you want from me? Latifa got an attitude and Daaammn gurl, what the hell is YOUR problem, all I asked you was if you knew sister Isha or not damn, you ain't had to get no damn attitude. Zeynab started to get furious. Then why are you asking me about her instead of talking to sister Isha yourself? Latifa didn't like what she was hearing. She got turned back to her little crew and started shouting "YAWLL SEE SISTER ZEYNAB RIGHT? SHE LOOKING ALL INNOCENT BUT FROM WHAT I HEARD FROM A VERY RELIABLE SOURCE THAT SHE WAS UP IN DA CLUB LAST NIGHT SHAKING HER BEHIN ALL UP ON MY MAN, AND THAT SISTER ISHA WAS AT DA BAR DRINKIN GREY GOOSE AND JIN." Zeynab was in shock and couldn't move. Latifa liked that and responded with her arms all out as if she was all that and a bag of chips. Whatchu gone do now zeynab. Yea, everybody here knows you wuz up in da club tryin to look all innocent. Guurrrl, u just like the rest of us, except you hiding it. Zeynab's eyes started tearing up and she shouted "HOW DARE YOU!" Latifa looked like she was confused, "How dare I what?  As she pretended to look around to see who zeynab was shouting at. YOU, Latifa, YOU! How dare you accuse me and sister Isha of something we didn't do?
Latifa: I didn't tell no lie, I never tell lies. Zeynab knew in her mind that she doesn't go into clubs, why would she? She has NO reason for going. So she wiped her tears and went inside the masjid, she stormed past the bullentin board, but backed up slowly and saw a posting for the SSH, she was a little excited and later contacted the owner. She was happy to find sisters not trying to break each other down and showing off at the masjid. When she met sister Nadia they could relate to one another and became instant pals!
